Migrate from Landbot
Landbot hands back a CSV of your data and a PNG of your flow — the canvas is rebuilt on this side, once. This page is the order to do it in, and the downgrade comes last.
Before you downgrade
Landbot keeps the data on an account that has downgraded from a paid subscription to the Sandbox plan for six months. Once deleted, it is permanently erased from their servers, and no restoration is possible — so the exports come first.
Export the data as CSV
Exports run as CSV throughout and arrive by email at the login address. Order them for every bot while the paid plan still runs.
Export the flow as a PNG
The Export Flow button saves the whole canvas as one image — the only form the flow leaves in. That is enough: the wizard hands the finished app to a coding agent, and the picture is what it rebuilds from.

The AI settings, the integrations, the takeover rules — whatever the CSV and the PNG do not carry, capture. The coding agent rebuilds from screenshots, one module at a time.
Do not count on templates
Sharing a bot as a template only downloads it into another Landbot account, and only for web agents. It is not an exit route.
The WhatsApp number is yours
Landbot does not provide or sell WhatsApp numbers. The number was always yours, and it moves with you.
The software is not
Their terms reserve all intellectual property rights over the software, and the licence they grant is revocable and non-transferable. What you keep rights in is the content you put in — which is what the CSV carries out.

The move, in order
Six steps, and the downgrade is the last of them. Everything before it works while both sides are still running.

Order the exports
The CSV of every bot’s data, emailed to the login address, and the flow as a PNG. Both while the paid plan still runs.

Run the wizard
One command scaffolds the app and writes only the modules you pick. It asks for your name and your logo, and opens a Chatfuel trial with a promo code worth $100 of credits.

Connect the number
The WhatsApp number is approved through Chatfuel, an official Meta partner. Landbot never owned it, so there is nothing to release.

Import the CSV
The contacts module imports the file Landbot emailed you and maps its columns onto fields.

Hand the PNG to the agent
The wizard ends by handing the app to a coding agent that knows every module you picked. Give it the PNG and the screenshots and it rebuilds the flow on the canvas. Then turn on the entry points Landbot never listed — comments, story replies and ad clicks among the seventeen.

Deploy, then downgrade
Add the auth module when customers should sign in to you, and deploy to Vercel, your own server or Docker. Downgrade or cancel last: the six-month clock starts when the account drops to Sandbox.
What stops billing
The numbers on the left are Landbot’s published ones, in the currency they publish. Ours are deliberately absent — they live on one page, and the pricing page is it.

Questions
There is no import file — the export of a flow is a PNG, and a template only downloads into another Landbot account, and only for web agents. The PNG is enough: the wizard hands the app to a coding agent with a skill per module, and the picture is what it rebuilds the canvas from. Everything downstream of it — the inbox, the CRM, the reporting — is already in the app.
